Kylie Minogue will become the face of beach fashion
5 May 2007Australian singer Kylie Minogue will again appear on TV. The pop-diva has accepted the offer to take part in shootings of the British science-fiction soap-opera “Dr Who”, the mysterious traveler, narrating about adventures. Shootings of series with singer’s participation will be started in July, 2007.
The first series of this soap-opera were broadcast at Air Forces telechannel from 1963 till 1969. In 2005 the third season of soap-opera, which will be prolonged till 2008, has been started.
From time to time Kylie Minogue participates in various TV projects; her last occurrence on TV was a guest role in a popular Australian comedy “Kath and Kim” in which the Australian suburbs and their inhabitants are derided. Kylie has started her movie career with a serial “Neighbors”.
The known Swedish clothes manufacturing company Hennes and Mauritz has declared that Australian pop-singer Kylie Minogue will become the face of a new beachwear collection. Other representatives of the fashionable and musical industry will be also involved in an advertising campaign summer line.
Thus, Kylie will fill up numbers of celebrities, who have joined design of H&M collections: pop-diva Madonna and icons of the world of a fashion Karl Lagerfeld and Stella McCartney are among them.
Kylie has emphasized that she likes H&M and associates their clothes with summer leisure, glamour and fun.
As it has become known the tenth part of profit on sale of the line “H&M Loves Kylie”, which will go on sale in the middle of May, will be directed to welfare fund WaterAid which deals with problems of presence of pure potable water and improvement of sanitary conditions in the countries of the third world.
It is worth of mentioning that this year magazine Glamour has named Kylie the most stylish celebrity among women. Therefore the occurrence of the singer in a role of the face of a fashionable line is more likely natural, than unexpected.
